Ingredients
- 4 cans of tomato sauce
- 4 cans of diced tomatoes
- handful of cloves
- handful of dried rosemary
- several generous dashes of dried oregano
- several generous dashes of dried basil
- plenty of dumpings of salt
- several dumps of black pepper
- many fresh, minced garlic gloves
- crock pot
- wooden spoon
- can opener
- large strainer
- large bowl
Open cans of sauce and diced tomatoes with can opener and add to crock pot. Turn crock pot on to low setting. Add herbs and spices. Stir with love and gentle strokes. Sauce can be left to warm for 3 days on low. Strain it before eating.
You can add vegetables like a zucchini or two, a couple of sliced mushrooms, or egg plant for that special veggie delight. You can pour this sauce over pasta or spaghetti squash.
*If you want to have some extra protein, be sure to use a lean meat like ground turkey.
